Can't Unroot

Okay, so I rooted my tablet to fix my battery. Now I'm having issues unrooting it. I rooted using KingRoot. It's a DigiLand DL1010Q running 4.4.2, which is a discontinued model. I've read about SuperSU, but it keeps failing, saying it needs something else to work. No luck with anything else.

EDIT - Okay, so I know this section of the forums is specifically for rooting. I figured it'd be the right place to ask this question. If I'm wrong, please, do me a favor and redirect me to where this question should've gone.

You can't change from KingRoot to SuperSU, you'll need to use a app SuperSU-Me (It's on the play store) to change it.
If you want to unroot it, go to the KingRoot settings>uninstall root permission or something like that.

I tried this, but my Kingroot install doesn't have options, just tells me the phone is rooted...

EDIT: I am having the same issue, rooted using Kingroot and now can't unroot so that I can use apps that don't run on rooted phones...

I actually found out that KingRoot has an unroot function built in, and my tablet has been unrooted for almost a week. In the top right corner should be a vertical line of 3 dots. Tap that, then tap General Settings. Scroll down, there should be an option that says "full unroot" or something (don't remember the exact words, I didn't pay attention to that). This will unroot your device and completely uninstall KingRoot. Although most unroot apps recommend rebooting your device after unrooting.
