Count me in here too, it is a useless appendage trying to waste space on my phone.
Google's voice search works every time.

I press the Microphone button and say "Take Me to Location" and it brings up Google Maps and places it automatically into Drive mode. what more could I want?

If I say "Take me home" it does the job. no screwing around with some app....

for google map you should have internet but for this internet is not essential its offline application for your android mobile dear

Google maps works fine offline... all you need to do is download the map areas in the background before you travel And then no connection is required. ...


(BTW, calling people 'dear' is considered by some to be offensive... I'm sure that's not how you meant it, but I thought I should let you know)
