Hi,
Could anyone please help
I would like Tasker to turn off Bluetooth and turn on Wifi when approaching known Wifi.

When you change xxxxxxxx to the SSID of your WiFi the following does the little you said ...

Profile: tlaDemo
State: Wifi Near [ SSID:xxxxxxxx MAC:* Capabilities:* Min. Activate Signal Level:0 Channel:0 Toggle Wifi:Off ]
Enter: Anon
A1: Wait [ MS:0 Seconds:0 Minutes:1 Hours:0 Days:0 ]
A2: Bluetooth [ Set:Off ]
A3: WiFi [ Set:On ]

Unfortunately I'm new to Tasker and have no idea on how to perform these actions.

There is a fairly long learning curbed with Tasker and it takes a degree of commitment that not everyone is willing to expend. There are a number of videos you can find with Google that will answer your questions.

If Tasker is too challenging an alternative that many people use is MacroDroid in place of Tasker.

The key to learning Tasker is to start out small and chip away at it.

Is it possible to have a nightmode for Tasker? For example deactivate Tasker at 9 PM and activate at 9 AM?
