Help Ram/Battery saving launchers?

Hi,
I have a Nexus 5. Sadly I cannot edit the icon grid on the home screen without installing a new launcher.
Which launcher do you guys recommend?

Tit doesn't necessarily have to have a grid edit, but would be preferable.
I would need something which wouldn't eat my ram and drain my battery.

Many thanks!

desnt nova use the most resources and battery?

Most as compared to what?

If it is most as compared to other apps on my phone ... the answer is no ... it is never high enough to be reported in the display.

Try the free version and see what you think about it on your phone.

I tried a lot of launchers, but stuck to stock androids. All have resource & performance issues. But one need to find one based on their needs. How much performance you can forego for the convenience you need.

What resource and performance issues do you have and with what launchers?

I can honestly say I've never had resource and performance issues on any launcher I've used on any device (that's including some cheapo, very low spec tablets).

Nova, Zen and quite a few more. Most adds up a lot of overheads & fancy features, which intrudes and keep consuming memory, battery et al.

Which is odd: Nova runs happily on phones less powerful than your N5 (such as my phone), and is not a significant battery user on any of my devices. So I wonder why you have problems with it?
