Help Problems with S7 Edge battery

Lately, I've been experiencing problens with battery, like now it no longer dies at zero percent it now dies at an earlier percentage and once it reaches 15 percent, battery starts to drain rapidly. (Battery drains normally above 15 percent)Is this a problem with my battery or could it have something to do with the OS and apps as this has never happened.

Hey There

How old your phone(battery) is?

How have you been using the battery? Were you regularly draining it to zero? Or at least below 10-15%? Were you using it while charging? Is it exposed to high temps (where do you live)? Is it always on fast charging?

I don't regulary drain it below zero i charge it between 5-15 percent most of the time and yes it's on fast charging but it isn't exposed to high temperatures but sometimes it overheats when I boot it up.

Go to Settings > Go to battery and > And the check the graph right there for which app is sucking up your battery the most. If you did a recent big update ?

For starters, apart from the battery optimization, clear system cache from the recovery menu, and don't let it get to 15% or below ever again. Actually, if this happened AFTER an update, a factory reset may be in order. Personally I'd suggest doing one at least after the next update if you don't want to do it now.

I forgot to ask if you were using any RAM cleaner, RAM booster, or app killing apps. Stop using them. Prolonged use of them wrecks Android parameters causing increased battery usage.
