Didn't notice that... Apparently the call doesn't end until the other person ends it... Try switching airplane mode on for a second to hang up, if that's not too much of an inconvenience... Should end the call...lol
 
I'm not sure if anyone has looked into this but (from what I've read) the kernel source wasnt complete for the Avant. So that may be the primary issue with the camera. I did find something interesting that the Grand 2 has nearly the same specs as the Avant and they have a full cm12.1. That being said it may be worth looking into.

It's not going to let you flash it because it's for a completely different phone, you'd have to edit the updater script and even then it most likely won't work
 
kernals are very specific when editing the scrips so call me an idiot here but if in any case would it be possible to just grab the stock camera and edit those scripts to match the newer ones? i might be 89% wrong on this idea

Well I guess it would never hurt to try, porting isn't fun tho, I couldn't do cause I wouldn't even know where to begin
 
I'm not gonna try every time I make a ROM it breaks but I did find a few bugs Bluetooth and earpiece does not work in calls so hopefully I can find the problem in some files
 
Why does AOKP have a camera fix but not this? I'd stay on AOKP but everything seems more sluggish and OGYoutube doesn't function correctly.

Is to the point to where I've almost given up hope lol, I tried porting but obviously I didn't get anywhere, imma probably just flash stock via Odin and stick with that cause I've noticed that these 4.4 roms start to get slow and sluggish after a while. It's a shame too, I'd even donate $10-20 to the person who can get marshmallow or even lollipop running on these phones, I'd do it myself but as I've explained b4 I don't have a good laptop to do anytype of Ron building
 
I've still got lollipop it runs faster then my friends' phone which is the core prime and I use some ram boosting apps I just need the camera to work then its perfect, if you want something fast get the elephone s7 or p9000

If I knew the source code the AOKP ROM used to fix the camera I might be able to try to compile it as a flashable zip kinda like what we did with the button fix, but I don't know it.
 
Well for people who can't find the camera app in this ROM I found a way to temporarily bring it back. I used luckypatcher to find the app and it has 2 system camera and I looked through some system files and could not find any camera lib in system folder. Please correct me if I'm wrong
