Skype and viber suck

Your post doesn't tell anything to be able to help but could that be OS incompatibility? I won't count much on Skype anymore (after M$ acquired it) but Viber imports all contacts automatically and also tells you who already is on Viber.

Try Tango.

Skype won't install at all with low memory error. Viber doesn't sync contacts at all. I have i997 infurse.

What was the point of this post? Are you asking for help? If it's low memory check your phone memory to see if you really do have low memory and it might just be a problem with the viber app itself

Of course it shouldn't be a memory error. I have enough memory.
About viber, it doesn't sync contacts at all. If I try to can or send message to one of my contacts who already has viber, it says the contact doesn't use viber.
My firmware version is 2.2.1. I can't update the version as well.:(((

It seems this post has no point, but it has. It's ok to warn all users whom find it that these apps has the worst memory and battery management.

When I bought my first mobile phone(s), everybody suggested me tha Android.

For a while, it was a pain to always charge it from day to day, and every app has need to restart after a phone call.

Later I started to programming android and started to know it. So I went to battery management, and my two most battery eater was these badly written programs. The magic happened when I rooted my phone first time, and I could remove these apps. (whatsup is in this group, messenger and others too).

Since that time, I am using telegram for quick chat, and phone call if need and that is enough for me.

If somebody really want to skype or messenger with me, calls me and say: hey, lets talk by skype. Sure, I say, give me a sec. Go to app, install skype, talk and uninstall.

That doesn't sound right. I've had a lot of Android phones, and never had one do that. Are you using any task killers, NOT recommended, and what phone have you actually got there?

Does not matter, do it on all. LG Spirit, Xperia M2, LG G3, etc... Every time when I check battery usage, these two applications on the top what is not system applications.

OK, although I've never used Viber, and I only use Skype on my Macbook Air laptop. :thumbsupdroid:

The app that's frequently been reported here on AF as a real resource hog, and can apparently cause problems on lesser devices is Facebook. And for this I'll either recommend Facebook Lite or just do FB in the browser. Although I don't use FB myself.

I have Skype on my phone, and it barely registers on the battery stats unless I make a call. Ditto WhatsApp and even the notorious Messenger (I don't have the actual FB app installed).
