Unable to open Google Play Store

I updated recent software update on my Samsung S7 edge (19.03.17), and when I open google play store I get a white screen. I've tried several options to reset, but still no joy.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Hey.

There could be various reasons behind this. In my case, it's usually the internet. When my wifi starts acting, that's usually when i get that infamous white screen. Make sure that's not the case with you and that you're able to browse websites or texting a family member via whatsapp or fb messenger to make sure that's not the case. Alternatively, your gmail ID could have been signed out (either accidentally or otherwise) and if that's the case, try re-logging.

The software update altered several things on my phone, i.e. I had to reload my email accounts, my lock screen clock reset to digital, and unable to access google play store for approx 10hrs...

Being new to android, does software updates usually have an impact on your phone settings?
