Looking for an app that let's u select a date or let's u go to the begging of when u first started texting somebody. ... example. .. I have 5000 texts w a specific contact. .. Im trying to go to the first few texts I sent to that person. .. but I have to scroll up thru all 5000.. and that takes way too long.....

Textra lets you search by date:

After scrolling up for a short time an option will show to search by date - if you tap it a calendar will pop up. Find the date you're looking for and tap it.

That is possible and quick with Textra.
When the calendar pops up keep tapping the back arrow for the Month, it will go back until you reach the first month you texted that person. Takes 5-10 seconds.
I was surprised at this helpful information. It is a capability n Textra SMS that is not in chompSMS.

Textra is Chomp's "little brother", but it has a few things that Chomp doesn't. It's odd, but that's the way it is.
