How can I change LG G6 ugly emojies, I like the one in Samsung devices.

I think emojis is a part of system software. So you will not get them from your Samsung device until you will have rooted the phone.

Am I wrong that the ones on here are just the Google ones? I use gboard and those are the emoji that show. Googles little bloby guys. I actually like them but thats just personal preference.

I do believe you are correct. Also remember that what you see has nothing to do with what the recipient will see. That will depend on what they have on their phone. :)

I'm glad to see the little blob guys back. I've just moved from the G4 and the emojis on that were awful!

With this phone now having the Google blobs, does that mean we are more likely to get updates to the emojis when they are released?

I really don't like the G6 emojis either. I ended up using a third party sms app, Textra, along with downloading their emoji plugins. Both adaptable through Play store.

I understand that the person receiving your emojis sees them as a direct function of what their own phone displays BUT my problem is sometimes I cannot even tell what my emojis are anymore. They are too pale on the background and the detail is missing. Like gone... So why doesn't LG do it like Samsung does it and give us some high definition and contrast on the emojis? This is the only problem I have with switching phones. I adored my Samsung emojis and then my phone died. If it cannot be changed I might go back to the store and get the Samsung Note 8. It was bigger too.

I use a third party SMS app called Mood. It has really cool emojis, many of them animated. But they are only for my enjoyment unless the person I'm texting with also has Mood. They either see their phone's version of the emoji or nothing.
