Me too and the 7th for an extended weekend to really get to know this device.

Gonna do that when I go back to work on Tuesday. Since my wedding anniversary is on the 5th, how do I explain to the wife that I need a few hours with the EVO that night

I am taking a vacation day on the fourth also. I am out of contract so I'll be going to the sprint store that day and spending the morning in line I guess.

I've got to work Jun 4th night shift, so I'll pick up my Evo, play with it for a few hours then head to work. I can't wait to use the wifi hotspot, its the only reason I held off on the ipad 3G and got the wifi version. Now I'll have plenty of ipad action on these long a$$ 12 hour shifts!

Leaving for vacation the morning of June 4 so I didn't pre-order. Called Sprint instead and set up an appointment/ticket for a callback. I'll order then and have it shipped for my return on June 11.

By then, you'll all be way ahead of me checking the Evo out. Good news though is I talked my wife into ordering one as well and getting the EverythingData Family plan with company discount so the wait won't be so bad.

Think I'll use the extra days to call ATT and let them know that Evo has struck again. Oh, that's right, my calls don't go through most of the time with ATT.

Glad I work in IT and that Friday is usually a slow day. I can come and go as I please. I'll go grab mine at 10am (when the store opens), and come back to work to play with my phone for the rest of the day.

I'll be picking it up at 11:30 and going to work...I also work in IT.

Going to NO for Tech-ED on the 6th and prior to the launch event I was pretty much resigned to the fact that I won't have the device in time to get to the airport, glad that the rumored release date of the 6th was wrong.

Gonna have LOTS of time to play with the phone with no one around, both on the plane and sitting in my hotel room etc.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Just be thankful that you have phones as powerful as the EVO at your disposal at such a young age.

not to come to work....with this 10$ add on charge im gonna be working to the bone. lol Im sure i will have it charging and playing with it...(meanwhile on my desk the extra battery i ordered off ebay will be also charging so i can keep playing with the phone long after work is over) A friday release date is awesome by the way...perfect for the weekend...going out and gonna have mine with me seein how good the pics are it will be taking.
