There's Andrew and Brian Sutton who I am dealing with. Andrew put my name on the list when I 1st called but I have been corresponding with Brian now. And with the warehouse being where I live I wouldn't be surprised if it did come a week early. That would be so cool!

Just wondering....did anyone else see that quick ad that Sprint did at the end of Survivor where they said congratulations to the winner and showed a huge EVO? I thought it was a quick preview to how Sprint will be showing the phone more and more until launch.

Hope you are right but I have doubts about this since reading that the EVP is an 'authorized representative'. Would they really get stock prior to official Sprint stores, BB and RS? I wouldn't think so.

Any comments from folks who've previously ordered newly released phones through them?

I would expect I big media blitz during the NASCAR all star race this weekend, similar to what they did with the Pre.

i wasn't with sprint or the pre last year. they DID market it alot during NASCAR last year? were those the first official commercials for the PRE? if so, that's great news for the EVO.

Oh, I see...LOL...Thanks for pointing that out. I completely skimmed over those dates...hahahaha

But, honestly, I don't think it'll matter. So, people can upgrade in that timeframe to the Incredible because of the early eligibility, but for those that REALLY want to switch to the EVO, it won't matter what type of promotion Verizon would do. The only thing that would prevent those people from switching providers is if they offered FREE upgrades, no out of pocket cost for an upgrade to ANY phone in their inventory...LOL...And that's definitely not gonna happen.

If Sprint would mimic this a lot of people would definitely upgrade to the EVO and probably not complain about the 10 dollar charge.
 
I've had other tell me they have gotten other phones that were ordered from them early so I guess will just have to wait and see. I heard if the warehouse gets them on the 1st or 2nd they will star shiping them out but who knows. But the warehouse is here where I live so either way I'll get it on the 4th.

They told me that too when I pre-ordered at BB. They said the absolute latest day we would get it would be the 4th, but it could be earlier depending on when the phones ship from the sprint warehouse.
 
Sounds like Verizon is trying to do everything they can to make sure people don't leave for the EVO.

Wow the incredible for $150...thats pretty bold.
