Am I the only one having these problems?
When I type a word like sir or changes to sit I change it back to sir and it goes back to sit. Or anytime I want to save a word I tap the "check" button to save, and it never saves! It's so frustrating.

Yes that is a common problems people face. Try Gboard. It works better.

You need to follow below process and check the settings-

1. From the Home screen, select Apps > Settings > General management (if an option) > Language and input

2. Select the keyboard you are using

3. The Smart typing section is the one you are interested. Turn each feature on or off as desired.

• Predictive text – Words are suggested below the keyboard field.
• Auto replace – Automatically replace most likely word after space bar is hit.
• Auto check spelling – Underline spelling errors.
• Auto spacing – Place spaces in between words.
• Auto punctuate – Insert periods or apostrophes automatically.

I have problems typing as well. Easier with a stylus Not fond of the keyboard..

I'm using Gboard by default and it's causing me problems which I can't seem to fix.
