Why is the Axon 7 Mini so underrated?

So I just bought this phone for just under $200 dollars. I got the Platinum Silver model. It has the exact high end premium build as it's big brother the regular Axon 7.  It also has the same exact Atmos Dolby surround sound speakers as it's big brother the regular Axon 7. I know the internals are different since the mini runs a 617 processor but wow you get the same identical high end quality build of the axon 7 along with the same best the industry speakers for all under $200 but yet no one hardly even mentions this phone. I use it as my daily driver. My back up device is a Nexus 6p. How or what am I missing here on this phone as why aren't more people buying it and talking about it?  It's also running Nougat 7.1.1. Just an awesome phone for just under $200 bucks. I don't understand how so many people have totally missed out on this phone. Any ideas?  If you haven't seen it or felt it then I highly recommend you do so. It's all metal build with a fast fingerprint sensor to the amazing speakers and the amoled 1080p 5.2 inch display. It's one heck of a phone and a steal on Amazon for $194. At this price you simply will not find a better built phone on the market.

Is because the phone is so cheap to buy?  To get what you are getting for only $200 bucks it's seems like a no brainer on buying this phone. I love mine. It's a hell of a device for the money.

Because it's yet another indifferent China phone amongst an ocean of indifferent China phones, and ZTE does make a lot of them....all offering premium gold aluminium casing, all looking like iPhone 6, ...

Surprise!

I've been working on the axon7mini for a couple months. It's got unofficial Lineage and AOKP builds, and will be going official Real Soon Now (probably later this week).

@Cyberdev yes ZTE does release sources, just as well as any other OEM. Which is to say, a kernel drop upon request.

Which Carrier? That's usually a big deal too..
