Hello i think your cracked your digitizer and not your screen, the screen is actualy covered by digidtizer and thats what cracks mostly, not the screen which id why a phone or a tablet can still stay on or function some what with craks in it. The digitizer is what i think you cracked, and it can be exspensive, but it would cost less if you did the repair your self.
