"Ok Google" has no default notes app

I use Google Tasks (Gtasks) and previously was able to say "ok google, make a note...etc etc.." and it would save that note for me automatically. With my new S8 phone from TMobile, the google app says "No notes app installed".

I've tried Gtasks and also installing a few other google tasks related apps in hopes one would be automatically be recognized as a default notes app, with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thanks! I needed to open the Keep app just once for setup, now I can select between a bunch of apps for my default notes app. Greatly appreciated
