Call Forwarding Settings Gone

Last week I did a software upgrade on my S7 and now the call forwarding settings are gone. Call forwarding still works if the dial codes are used but the Phone app no longer has the settings. Does anyone know what happened?

The phone app uses settings stored in setup, but my guess is that the upgrade cleared the settings.

Open the Phone Dialer app, click menu>settings>more settings>call forwarding (I had to go one more level under "additional settings" but my phone is from LG, so the S7 might be worded differently). Then you can reset what you want your call forward settings to be.

I have the same problem. The settings option does not even have a forwarding option. Can you tell me what the dial code is for call forwarding on/off. I do not even know that. Thanks

Call forwarding settings are determined by the carrier. You'll have to check with them to determine what your settings are supposed to be.

To call forward all calls the code is *72 plus the destination number.
To forward calls that are not answered the code is *92 plus the destination number.
To deactivate, the code is *73.

I have Verizon, and same issue here. I got forwarding to Google Voice working by going on-line to my Verizon account, and setting the forwarding number there. It forwards after about 5 rings or if busy. How annoying to take that control away from the phone.
