After 8 days with the v30 I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the battery life. I have gone all day with out charging it. I have never done that with any smart phone with this much use.

Yeah. With a few tweaks, it's been about perfect for me. Way over a day. It's pretty impressive to be honest.
So what do you like most about this device besides the battery life?

I echo the battery life sentiment. Full usage to 0% would net me 6.5 to 7 hours of SOT.
As a whole the entire experience fills snappier. I occasionally had lag with the V20, so far the V30 fills more fluid.

I think the screen with the very small bezels. So far I am extremely happy with my decision to ditch the HTC 10.

Yes the battery life was the biggest surprise for me. I bought this device because I didn't like the look and feel of the Note8, and the idea of the quad DAC really appealed to me.
To my surprise the battery life has become a darling as much as the quad DAC.
I've never had a phone that I didn't have to babysit the battery on, until now
And, what a treat it is because I can now use those old wireless charging pads I bought years ago that I had given up on, because they could replenish fast enough the huge amount to of battery constantly lost on my Samsung devices.
Now I just slap the v30+ down on them when walking by because all I need is to top the battery up a bit from around 80%, which is what I come home with after a 12 hour day of light use.
I don't even look at battery on the v30 anymore, I've gotten used to it making through the work day just fine and recharging at night. My girlfriend asked how come I left the fast charger by the couch for so many days when I first got the device. Didn't need it.

Nice. Yes i had the S6 edge too and loved it, still own it but now like the v30+ better.
When I was using the S6 Edge I gave up on wireless charging and charging in the car because I just couldn't get much from either in half an hour or hour.

I somehow don't have a good battery life and ask myself why it has so many good reviews regarding this topic. Any specific tweaks I have to do to achieve a good battery life throughout the day?

Can you please share your tweaks? I'm not happy with the battery and don't know what to do anymore. Tried so many things to make sure it can run the whole day.
