Note 8 vs the Fruit Phone

That headphone dongle is in some of our futures.What kills me is that's how it started with the G1 and then the next iteration of phones all had headphone jacks. Noboby should have to pay extra just to listen to music. Bluetooth is cool and all but it's pricey to get really good sound.

Save the wire!
 
Moores law states tech will get cheaper every 18 months, so TODAY maybe the tech is expensive (and thats relative to the end user) but in time it may not be so much a problem.

I use very high end headphones with a built in DAC on the headphone that bypasses the AD/DA conversions through the headphone jack (uses thre is port ). The cans are also wired so the headphone jack is appreciated on these devices, but in time the analog headphone jack will become less and less important...

Great commercial. That was me a few years ago, waiting in line for the 3G. Got the last one in Raleigh, NC that day. That was also the last iPhone I bought (for me). I do still buy them for the wife but after getting the Note 3, how do you go back?
 
Have a look at the recently hacked Paradise Papers, Apple et al evading tax to the tune of hundreds of millions worldwide, including America, Canada Ireland, UK. Despite Tim Cook going public saying Apple do not deliberately evade tax, the leaks prove it is yet another lie from the wholly rotten fruit.
