s7 edge unlocked and try to upgrade to nougat

hei guys I just bought my unlocked s7 edge with type sm 935 a from Verizon now its running android 6.0 I want to upgrade it to nougat , can u guys give me some tips ? if I upgrade it to nougat will it locked my s7 edge ?

No it will not lock the device.

Sorry for late response , it will not be locked even i flash it using odin ?

Once unlocked, the phone should remain unlocked upgrade or no upgrade
