Help Google Play error, can't figure out fixing this...

Bando

Lurker
So every time I turn on internet access, WiFi or cell data, I get an old style android message come up like this:

Then when I click okay, it attempts to open the Google play store to something, but then shows this message:

After clicking okay again, nothing else loads and I have to close the app. I don't know why it started doing this or what it' related to since it doesn't even display anything.
It seems to be related to something auto updating or connecting whenever I establish internet connectivity, but that' as far as I can figure.

I already tried clearing the cache and data from the play store app and I have a default internet browser set already.
Anyone here know anything about this? I'd rather not have to go through a factory reset to solve this.

Thanks.

If possible try going to your stock Browser and going to the Google Play Store. If you make it to this point. Login to the Play Store with your Google account and look for Google Play Store app and update it. If you made to this point try to install Chrome Browser also.

If neither one of those options work for you. You may need to login from a different device like a laptop or computer and make sure that you are logged into your phone with your Google account. Going to the Play Store and do the same thing and have your phone on why you install or update both of those apps from your laptop or computer. It may take a minute but it will eventually fix itself. This may talk up to a few hour until Google synchronize your device. And it's also a good idea to check and see if Google Play services is working on your device because if that's not up to date and working nothing on your phone will pretty much work by Google standard.[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the input thus far, folks. I will try those other steps when I'm home.
I did have Songify on my phone, just deleted it so now I will see if it comes up again. I wonder what happened for it to just start doing that now.

I will post again if this has been succssful or if I have to check my Google sign in's on another device.

It seems that deleting Songify solved it, it must have been the cause of this error. Haven't had it come up since I removed it.

Thanks a lot for your help, folks.
