Contacts between phone and computer

Hello,

I have some information within my contact profile on my phone....a gmail email address. When I go to Google through my computer, the information is not showing under my account. I see information from my other contacts but not my own.

Help.

Save your contact as new and have it saved to your Google account.

To do that go into your contacts app and select 'new contact' in that window there will be an option on the top, as to where you want that contact to be saved. Make sure to select your Google account as destination

Thank you. It is just odd because at the very top of my contact app is me and I thought it would have saved that info to Google.

The top 'my info' is only saved to the phone for whatever reason

Going by your initial posting it sounds like the Contacts app in your phone isn't properly linked to your online Google account so things just aren't going to sync.
If you start up the Contacts app, tap on the three vertical dots in the upper left, and tap on 'Manage accounts', is your gmail address listed there?

The OP is saying that all contact show up in Google contacts besides for his own that he saved under the 'my info' in the contacts app (see screenshot for what i mean) so my answer was, that the my info is only saved to the phone and not in Google.

I was addressing the OP's query, not sure why you think I was even commenting to your reply as I was asking the OP about their Contacts syncing issue, not what account their phone is registered as.

My bad.

All i was saying is, that the OP seemed to have all contacts sync without a problem, besides for one Contact, which happens to be their own number and email address.
Sorry if i wasn't clear
