Help Find my device? Security options?

I’m new to android and. LG G6. Is there something equivalent to the iPhone find my phone ? I need to know where and what I should set up in case my phone is lost or stolen?

Google has a find my device option which -if I'm not mistaken- is automatically enabled. It gives you the option to see the location of your phone, ring your phone, to lock your phone, and also to erase everything on it.

Go to the find my device website and after signing in, you'll see if it's enabled.

Yes definitely you should have fingerprint or a strong password set up

I personally don't use it cuz out of all the security options, this one sounds easiest to bypass as opposed to fingerprint, password, or face recognition. That's my own feeling, i don't know if that's actually true

It compares fine to find my iPhone/iPad just fine.
I have an iPad and using Android Device Manager is about the same.
You can locate, sound an alarm, lock and wipe your LG G6 or any Android device via Google.
