Cuss words

Can anyone tell me how I change the language on my cell phone so that when I'm dictating it doesn't just give me stars instead of the cuss word?

I have a Google pixel 2
 
I never tried curse words but you can try changing the setting which allows offensive words. The way you do that if you're using the Google keyboard is, you long press on the comma or the emoji icon on the actual keyboard, the scroll to the settings icon, in settings go to text correction and enable offensive words.

Thank you! Your instructions halfway worked. I did find the place to uncheck for cuss words as you described to me but I discovered there is another place you have to uncheck as well. But I would never have thought to look on the keyboard settings. so you're my hero.

I just learned how to make my Google pixel 2 accept and type cuss words. What I discovered is that you have to make changes in two separate places. After you go into your keyboard settings you have to go to text settings and unclick the blocked offensive words choice. Then go into voice typing and uncheck the block offensive words. And that should work for you. And after you use your cuss words wash your mouth out with soap. LOL
