IP changes

My ip address shows one thing at work and when i walk 200 yards to my house it changes. I use data only. Wifi is turned off. What would cause this.

Its probably your phone switching cell towers. Its happens alot.

Smartphone IP addresses on cellular networks aren't permanent, so your phone will get a randomly assigned one that changes as you move about.
If your phone did have a fixed IP address, that would restrict your mobility quite a bit as you'd always have to stay in the same general location to continue getting online access.
