Changing the home screen calendar choice

RGrizzzz

Lurker
I just switched to Android, specifically a Pixel 2 XL. On the default home screen, the date shows up. I clicked it, and it let me choose a calendar to associate with it. I accidently clicked the google calendar, instead of Outlook. (It was an option) How to I switch from Google calendar to Outlook? I called Google support, and the person I talked to was clueless. This seems like it should be an easy change.

Should I be seeing calendar events where the date is?
Not sure, you may have to use a different widget or calendar app that supports Outlook. There may be something in settings for either the calendar or in the widget for it.

I don't have your same phone and don't use Outlook so we have to wait for someone in the know to come along :D

edit: put something on the calendar for today and see if it shows. Oh and, welcome!

I think that Google's At A Glance widget included on the new Pixels will only display events from the Google Calendar - though as you've seen you can at least change the shortcut so that it will open the Outlook calendar when tapped.
