Hello!

I got a question:

How to choose a good phone display, when buying it in an online store, what parts should pay attention - to not buying a bad display?

I read that you should look at the serial number, what is that?

I hope you understand my question, if not, then in short:

I want to order a display for my phone, but I do not know if he will work and not get lost when I change it. I am interested in - what you need to know before you order a new display.
 
I take it your display is not bonded to the glass, or else you have to change the whole assembly.

The display has got to be the same size, have the same electrical connections, and be compatible with the display drivers that are part of the phone's firmware. To my mind the one way to be sure of all of that is to make sure it's the same part as was used in the original phone, so I'd start by finding the manufacturer and part number of the original display.

Ok, i get it.
Example: I have a Samsung S6, I want to change the display so that everything works and there is no defect. Best place where to look for a display? And where can I find the display number?
Stupid questions, sorry, but im new in this, thats why i try to understand things.
 
I've never looked into replacing my own displays, but if you tell us what country you are in that will help people make relevant suggestions. I'd probably trust a major repairs supplier like iFixit to provide the correct parts, would be more nervous of an eBay vendor for example.

I'm pretty sure that for the S6 you have to replace both the display panel and the digitiser at the same time (i.e. the two are bonded together).

There are potentially three parts to a display. The LCD which is what generates the images you see, the digitizer, which is what senses touches and swipes, and possibly a glass overlay. Sometimes they can be replaced individually, but sometimes then must be replaced my complete assemblies. It depends on the phone make and model.
 
If the phone registers touches then it has a functioning digitiser layer (i.e. a touchscreen). Probably just bonded to the display panel so that it appears as one part.
