Help Using my new tablet as private as possible

Hi,
I want to use my new Galaxy Tablet as private as possible, so that Google and other companies doesn't know what I am searching and what I am doing on my tablet.

I found some apps like XPrivacy and NetworkLog which handels my privacity carefully, but for installing it my tablet must be rootet. I have no possibility to root my tablet, so what can I do, that my prive consumption isn't send to other companies?

well sort of... but of course if you still use google as a search engine... google * will know what you search for.

*feel free to replace google with bing/yahoo etc in this sentence

Can I told, that Google isn't allowed to select my data - for example the ebooks I am reading, the music I am hearing and the place I am standing.

I heard so much bad things about companies collecting data and I want be absolutly sure, that when I switch WLAN off, that no data will go out from my tablet.

Delete your Google account, including Gmail, Playstore, and anything else Google in your phone settings.
Turn GPS off and WiFi off.
Hopefully your phone will still work.

If you want actual privacy from data-driven companies, that's not going to be easy. Yes you can avoid using Google, or Facebook, or whatever and rely on alternatives but once you go online to do anything, your ISP (via WiFi) and/or your carrier (via cellular/mobile data) can and do keep records on you. You can use Tor (take a look at 'Orbot') or buy a VPN on your un-rooted tablet and that will give you anonymity but there can be a bandwidth speed decrease at times and some services, such as Netflix, actively work to block access through something like a VPN. If you're trying to lock down your tablet and avoid whatever online services you feel uncomfortable using to be 'private' don't forget that's just part of the chain, there's that middle-ground involving how you get online access while insulated from invasive monitoring that's a major challenge.

I pay for absolutely nothing on the internet with one major exception. I installed and use a reliable VPN. Having tried a few I now have, and I'm very happy with, Private Internet Access, PIA. I experience no slowing down at all of my browsing speeds whatsoever. The use of a VPN provides me with total peace of mind, total privacy, good security. I highly recommend the use of a VPN to satisfy your stated needs.

1. Setup an user account with less info possible.

2. Always use a web browser instead of apps from the Playstore.

3. You must access Internet from a device with VPN enabled.

All those things don't keep you 100% anonymous, but at least it's NOT you, well, virtually.
