My 5T

Had my 5T for a few weeks now and really like it. The screen/display is the perfect size for what I was looking for.
First time using Oxygen OS and surprised at how smooth and easy it works. Lots of features that you usually only find in custom roms and pretty much bare bones stock Android.
Battery life has been the best I have ever had in a phone. Even with a day of hard use, still had better than 45% after 18hrs.
Haven't put the camera through much of a test yet but pictures I've taken seems to have turned out great to these old eyes.
Haven't figured out why thin is in when it comes to new phone designs. Hopefully case manufacturers will start releasing models for the 5T soon and thick bumper cases will be available.
External speaker sounds clear and loud. In call speaker could be a little bigger and louder, but mostly my hearing at fault.
Had to make the move to a different carrier since no Verizon support but haven't had any issues with T-Mobile coverage so far.
I think this one is gonna be a keeper.

Yes and customizable.

Another question.. Say if you're surfing the web on your phone using wifi & you either get a call or a text message, it still comes through while you're using wifi at the time?

Jfalls, you like this device ?? Any issues since you bought it that I should be aware of before I make the final move. I'm looking at this device and thought I'd check in with you to see if anything had changed since you bought it back in Dec.

I really loved the 5T. In call speaker volume could have been a little louder, but my hearing not so good anymore. Oxygen OS was great. Lots of built in features usually only found in custom ROMs. Updates available on time and great development community
I had to give it up due to carrier coverage in my area. T-Mobile signal was great at work, sucked at home and AT&T was the exact opposite. Had to get a phone that was Verizon compatible. If OnePlus ever make a model that is Verizon compatible, I'll get another one in a heartbeat.

I suspect that Verizon compatibility will come when VZW ditch CDMA. Since that's barely used anywhere outside N. America, and on its way out there, if they've not thought it worth supporting so far I'll be surprised if they do in future.

My thinking also. A lot of good phones being made that are GSM only. Limits choices that Verizon customers have.

Glad I waited, OnePlus 6 is out and not that much more to buy. :)

Well I was going to get a One Plus 6, but I ended getting a good deal on a One Plus 5T 128 GB, so I couldn't pass it up, I should be getting this week. Anything important I need to know before I get it ??

So far so good no issues yet, still getting use to it, as for years I've been used to active display with Moto X, but I am getting use to it now. Definitely fast though, runs circles around my old unit.
