Galaxy S4

I recently got a pixel (irrelevant). So I did not use my Galaxy S4 for a while. I tried to turn it on and it did not turn on. I charged it for several hours and it did not work. I figured it was the battery so i put a new one in. It was charged. I charged it more but it would not turn on.

Anyone have any idea what to do? I don't need to but it would be good to play music with something other than my current phone. I wouls go to Verizon but they will just try to sell me stuff and not help.

Does it do anything when you hold the power button? Like vibrate maybe? Does the LED turn on when plugged in?

If holding down the Power button doesn't help, your S4 does come with user-replaceable battery. Remove the back cover, pull the battery out, and wait several minutes with it removed. If there's some odd hardware glitch that's preventing the phone from booting up, removing the battery will eventually let any residual power drain away, as opposed to a forced reboot. While you're waiting around, if you have an appropriate screwdriver set, tighten any screws that may be a little loose. With a dated phone it's not surprising if there are one or more that just need to be tightened up a little. Anyway, put things back together and try to boot it back up.
