Best headphones under £30 for GP

There is a sound difference between wired and wireless. All else being equal wired would sound better. Remember that a wireless pair contain extra components (power source, bluetooth chipset, decoder, DAC, amp), which a wired pair (analogue) wouldn't contain, so for the same price the wired pair probably spent more on the actual drivers, earcups/enclosure, etc. Obviously though a wired pair would have to play through the adapter - there are a few USB-C headphones now, but certainly most of these will exceed your budget (these contain fewer components than a bluetooth set, but more than an analogue set, so you'd expect them to cost a bit more than an equivalent quality analogue set).

As for recommendations, what's your preferred style: in-ear, on-ear, over-ear? I don't know the £30 headphone market very well, but it will help others to give recommendations if they know your preferences.

(I used to have a pair of RHAs in that price range, which worked fine, but I've not tried enough of their direct competitors to really say how they compare - the reviews were good, and they sounded OK to me, but that's as much as I could say with confidence. These days I can't tolerate in-ear phones, so use some somewhat more expensive over-ears).
