hi, i had rooted my s6 and i accidently erased my OS and didnt do a back up, how can i get my os back while stuck in TWRP

S6 doesn't have a removable SD. But you can install a ROM from a flash drive using a usb OTG adapter. Or use ADB Sideload to install it.

Or Plan C: reflash with stock software, then re-root and try again...

Oh yeah, so it doesn't. Forgot Samsung removed the sd card slot for a bit.

It was just the one year, but the S6 was that year.

(I still think it was dumb of them to do it, since by then all of the other major manufacturers had already tried it, decided it was a bad move and reversed it. They could have learned from others' mistakes and saved themselves the trouble).

Is there Oreo for the S6? I don't own one so don't keep up with the ROMs.

If there is an Oreo ROM and it doesn't require an update of any other firmware (baseband etc) then sure, you can install it straight away.

Officially the S6 stopped at Nougat, so you'd be best flashing it back to completely stock, before rooting again.

ok where do i get an s6 rom from?? cuz im downloaded 2 already and both files were invalid???

Were these roms supposedly stock? If not, that's why i recommended going to stock first.

If you let us know the exact model number and region we could look for the firmware, if you'd like.
