organising photos by date

Hi guys, does anyone know how to sort by date my photos. In windows 10 they are fine but once copied to my phone they are all over the place, no order. Thanks

I use the native Photos app that came preinstalled on my XL and I also use the free gallery app "A+ Gallery" which sorts your photos a number of ways including by date.
