Hi hope someone can help and if I'm in the wrong place or even the wrong forum for that matter please say and direct me to where I could maybe find the answer.
I would like to be able to download videos from any website Eg websites using openload etc as much as I appreciate that you can watch videos on these sites sometimes there is alot of buffering making the viewing not so enjoyable so if I could download it it would be better thanks.

Well, there are some sites that readily allow one to download video content but most simply do not. As @Dannydet mentioned, what you're asking for is generally considered to be a piracy issue. So instead of downloading content to alleviate some kind of buffering issue, maybe it would work out better for you to focus instead on solving the initial problem. Buffering of video is typically tied to a bandwidth speed issue. Either it's very high resolution video on a marginally acceptable network or it's just a basic network issue. For the first if you can opt for lower res video that might help, for the second that's going to depend on either your WiFi and/or ISP connectivity, or your cellular (mobile data) connectivity. If you provide more details on what kind of content you typically view and how you're accessing it, maybe we can make more relevant suggestions.

I don't think downloading a video clip off of the Internet, Facebook, YouTube, etc(I'm not talking about music videos with reserved rights..just the ones the people shoot from their phones) has any thing to do with piracy..I download those all the time..specially the funny ass ones..

If it helps, I've notice every since I started using the browser Samsung Internet Beta..that one will allow you to just by touching and holding, will immediately pup up a "download this video" notification of the the clip you want to download from any page I mentioned above..

I hope that helps.

You'd be wrong. All of those sites have policies about downloading content and most prohibit it explicitly. Moreover, unless the person who shot the videos in the first place give you permission to download it, you are indeed violating copyright. Just because someone posts a picture or video doesn't make it fair game for anyone who can grab it.

Let me get this straight..there's millions of porn clips loaded in the internet..and there's billions of porn "enthusiastic" that download those every day..but I've never heard of any one claiming porn rights..

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

All content is protected by copyright. Period.

The pornography industry is actually quite vigilant about protecting their media.

Actually I think you'll find it's "copyright, all rights reserved" with any videos, even cats playing pianos, unless the copyright owner specifically states otherwise in writing, e.g. "creative commons", "public domain".
