How change contacts sort order?

Hello,
I wish to list my contacts by last name then first name, but I see no way to do that. Under call setting, it lists:

Phone settings
swipe to call or send
contacts with numbers

Call settings
quick decline...
answering and ending calls
call alerts
ringtones...
more settings
tty mode
hearing aids

I saw somewhere that you can change the sort order, but I don't think I have that option. Thanks.

Install a different dialer app that has the options your looking for.

The phone/contact settings are contextual meaning that if you have the number pad open, then when you hit menu you see "call settings" which are settings for the dialer and phone. Switch that to the contacts tab and you get "contact settings" with will give you options on how contacts are displayed and sorted.
