ZTE Zmax Pro; No Voicemail Notification

Hi, I'm new here. Have a ZTE Zmax Pro which since 2 weeks now has stopped voicemail notifications.
No voicemail icon, no notification sound, without me changing any setting. Voicemails still come, but no notification.
Running standard 6.0.1. Google searches hasn't helped, so any help here will be appreciated.
And it's not from T Mobile's end.

You may have accidentally disabled it within Settings..

Thanks for responding.
1st place I checked. In 'Settings' voicemail only appears under 'Call Settings' and there is nowhere to disable notification.Even did a factory reset, but to no avail.

Look in Settings-Apps and enable 'system' via the cog wheel looking icon, you should also be able to Update the app from within voicemail (an option)

Where you need to look is under settings>apps then you need to tap the menu (three dots in the upper right) and show system apps. Now here's where it gets interesting ... On a phone running AOSP Lineage OS the voicemail notifications are generated by "Phone Services", but on my LG G6 it's from "call services" so I'm not sure which it will be, or even if it's something different on a ZTE device.

You should look for either of those first and see if you can find them in the app list. If you do, then tap on it and then see if notifications are disabled. I'll bet they are.

Thanks again, but Voicemail is nowhere in my list of apps (not even in system apps), and there is no option for enable/disable in my spoken voicemail options.

Under Settings-Apps, I do have Phone Services, and Notifications is set to "Normal". Even when set To "Treat As Priority" & Allow Peeking, I still don't get voicemail notifications.
In Settings-Call services, there is a tab for Voicemail, within which there is nothing about notification, but there is a tab for Visual Voicemail, which is set to "on"

Thanks

@bcrichster , not sure where that app is from, but I don't have a dedicated voicemail app either. I'm currently on nougat (7.1) if that has any bearing.

@amidis , there are only so many places to block notifications at the app level. Could you post a screenshot of what you see in Phone Services>notifications?

I may have the .apk in storage, would you lime the app to Download? I just regular install it on my custom Boost Mobile ROMs.. This is from a Boost Mobile device but should work for Sprint as well.

You may not have one with Metro Nougat and just be required to hold down the #1 button on dialer..

I think it has something to do with the latest update from ZTE, because up to a couple of weeks ago my voicemail notifications were fine
