Battery temperature is -10 degrees Celsius

My phone is running on Android 7, I keep getting an popup that says phone battery is minus 10 degrees Celsius and then the phone powers down and stay off for days. Only way to get it running again is to let it sit in the sun for about 10 minutes. The thing is, it's very hot here and not near 10 degrees let alone minus 10 degrees Celsius. Has anyone ever come across such an issue, and if so, how do I fix it?

Which app is reporting that temp?

Could be a problem with a temperature sensor, or the firmware is borked. Have you tried restarting or even resetting the phone? In-case it's just acting funky. Is the phone still under warranty?

I bought it online, its an Oukitel K10000 Pro, I tried to set Ute vassal to factory reset but it went dead and still won't start up again, I'll wait a day or so and try again

Looking up your phone it has an outstanding 10.000mAh battery:

While that minus 10 C is obviously not accurate, the fact that your phone is powering itself off could just be a matter of the battery is failing.
If the problem is tied to something like the temp sensor, it's a component soldered to the motherboard. The most common fix is to just replace the entire board. But if the problem is because of the battery, it's replaceable by you with a little effort:
and the cost for is under 30 USD

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I'll start by ordering a new battery 🔋, I tried to do factory reset and the phone 📱 powered down so I hope to get it started again soon 🔜

If it's still under warranty, the phone probably can be repaired or replaced. But an Oukitel bought online, you'd have to return it to the vendor or Oukitel in China.

Yes its going to cost me the phone's 💵 to send it back 🔙
