Problem with audio on movie on my phone

I've heard something like that before, and it sounds like the movie is using an audio codec that the player can't deal with. Do you know what audio codec that movie is using, like is it something fancy like Dolby TrueHD 7.1?

Can it play other videos aright, like ones shot with the phone itself? Does the movie play correctly on a PC or Mac?

Where did you obtain that movie file? If you downloaded it, try a different source. If you ripped it yourself from a disc, try using a different ripping utility. Those samples you posted are NOT using mp3 as indicated in those screen caps, they're apparently a corrupted, mono AAC.

Stream #0:0(eng): Audio: aac (LC) (mp4a / 0x6134706D), 44100 Hz, mono, fltp, 128 kb/s

Ahhh, but using a different media player app won't fix a corrupt audio stream.

OK "HD-TS" that's almost certainly an illegal pirate movie download or torrent. I suspect the picture quality isn't that great either. It states "MP3 2.0 192kbps" which should be no problem for any player, but maybe something went wonky with the sound encoding. Do other videos sound aright, like ones made with the phone itself, or perhaps legally obtained videos. ?

Other video is good, capture on camera. But another dowloaded video is 'brocken' audio. All video

I was basing my comments on those posted sample mp4 files and their actual content. As for the screen caps, I have no clue as to what they're referencing but they're not based on those sample mp4 files.

The screen caps were made with another camera, I think the OP posted the file details from some torrent site of the pirate "HD-TS" copy of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, that had the problem sound. "HD-TS" basically meaning someone setup a camera in a movie theatre somewhere and recorded the movie from the screen, and probably captured the sound just using a microphone from the theatre speakers.

So what it boils down to is we're commenting on separate issues that may or may not even be pertinent in any way to the originally posted query.
Bummer, I'm just going to go make a sandwich and watch some Netflix. Sigh.....
