Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900T -T-Mobile (U.S.A. only)
Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F -International models

Not quite sure what you are asking in your post.

Have you got both the G900T and the G900F models?

Alternatively, are you considering flashing the stock firmware or indeed, a custom ROM to one or other of the models mentioned.

You should only install stock Samsung firmware to the correct model of phone and Product code.... see #1.8 & #1.11 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide

Because the Global, G900F, and the carrier minority variant for T-Mobile, G900T, have different modems, you should be careful about which custom ROMs you flash, as well. Although a popular custom ROM called Lineage does offer one ROM for both models of Galaxy S5.

Sorry.....
I had a S3, loved it. It was unlocked, rooted and I was using CM Mods
Not knowing that everything had gotten all locked up, about a year and a half ago I purchased the SAMSUNG GALAXY S5 SM-G900A AT&T. I hate it -- hate it! It is now unlocked but I can't root it and the bootloader locked.

I do enjoy the S5 other features and I would like to get another one, but Unlocked, and one I can Root and using the right custom Roms.

From what I have read so far these two are possibly the best two in the S5 series. The question I was trying to ask, can you suggest one or the other?

On a side note I was considering the Moto 5G plus to this list, but I can't find andy Roms for it.

Thank you for any input you can send my way.

It rather depends on which country and which network you intend using either the G900F, Global, model or the G900T, T-Mobile (USA), model.

For instance, the G900F does not play nicely with the U.S. CDMA networks, (Verizon, Sprint, etc: ), or most of the U.S. 4G/LTE bands. However, it is fine in around 190 other countries, worldwide.

The Motorola G5 Plus, model XT 1687 (USA), should be good on most non CDMA networks in the U.S.
