Pitchers and catchers report today

Indeed. It's kinda fun when you're at the park though.
I'm counting the days to the end of May, we are going to Fenway for the Sox/Braves series.
I haven't been to Fenway in about 5 years. I've been skipping down to Pawtucket and catching the PawSox. The price is way better and the players actually like talking to young fans.

Last and only time I was at Fenway and sat in the left field bleachers every hit looked like a homerun but they were foul balls.

MLB should use stickball rules. Anything over the houses/bleachers is a homerun unless It's behind the catcher. No foul poles.

Well, looks like there is a JD Martinez deal too. Not sure where they're going to put him and he's a pretty expensive DH. Do need a bat though (looking at your Hanley) so we'll see how this all goes (out of the park!).

I don't believe it! The Royals won their first spring training game against the Dodgers. Miracles can happen.
LOL. Spring training, where pitchers are working on a particular pitch and throw it over and over regardless of effectiveness. :p

What nobody on your team is hitting .500 that all the fans are going to be pissed about because he gets assigned to Single A?

So the Giants want to be the "49er's of Baseball"? ;)

Some teams do. The Mets have got den Dekker in Spring Training. He was with them years ago. LAD also seem to get former members in Spring Training.

The Yankees are collecting power hitters again. They got Giancarlo Stanton from the Marlins.

So far - no one has signed Jake Arrieta. Yu Darvish is now with the Cubs.
