Viruses

When I try to use the Samsung Internet Browser, I get a message saying that the phone has a virus and I will be blocked if I don't remove it. When I click on OK, I am then redirected to a website to install the Apus browser from Google Play.
I don't understand why this is happening, since I have Malwarebytes and Knox installed.

It is probably a bad ad network on the site you are visiting, or have visited. Clear data and cache for your browser and it should clear it up.

You can't actually get a "virus" on Android without explicitly allowing the app to be installed.

Just to be clear, open settings go to applications find Samsung Internet and tap on that to bring up the app options. Find storage and tap that. There you can clear data and clear cache (do both).

Doesn't clearing data automatically clear cache? At least that's what happened last time I checked.
