Stuck in Upgrading or Updating Screen and Restart

Guys, does anyone know how to fix my phone CM Flare S4, it's stuck in upgrading or updating screen and it restart then it backs to upgrading or updating screen but it doesn't finish and restart again. Pls help.

Do you know what you were upgrading to? It is quite possible that it needs to restart during the upgrading process, which can take some time, depending on the apps installed.

It could also be that some of the old system cache is interfering with the update process. If it doesn't complete the upgrade on its own, try booting into recovery and wiping the system cache and rebooting. If that doesn't fix it, you might have to factory reset.

How long have you let it go? It can take up to 30 minutes to complete.

You may need to reflash the firmware if the upgrade was somehow corrupted.

I found this video, but i can't vouch for it. I have zero expereince with this phone.

is it gonna work if the device is in that condition ??

Like I said I have no experience with this phone, but in my experience with other Android phones, it will either work or it won't but it won't do any more damage PROVIDED you don't interrupt the flashing process once it's started and you use the correct firmware file for your EXACT model phone.

If it's something you're not comfortable with, it might be worth it to you to take it to a shop and have them do it for you for a small fee.
