Help Can't select recovery options

I'm looking to factory reset my box but when in recovery mode it says to use volume up/down to highlight but no buttons work. What can I do?

Try plugging a PC keyboard into the USB, that might operate the recovery mode with the arrow keys, esc, space and return key.
