Note 8 image resizing?

My Note 8, after Bluetooth transfer of images from my Note 3, does not allow images to be resized up as much (by using my fingers), maybe sometimes not at all, as was possible on my Note 3. Any ideas?

Can you “size up” other photos NOT takein on your note 3, but transferred form other sources (like form your computer)?

Bluetooth transfer doesn’t make any difference on how photos are “sized up” on your device.

You’re using oreo update yes? And what’s your carrier?

Thanks for the reply. Right now, I do not know if I am on Oreo or not. I just got the phone about a week and a half ago and right now, the phone is telling me that there is a device software update available, which I have delayed till later tonight. I am on AT&T.

Right now, I have only just tried one image that I have now downloaded from the Net, as I did on my phone, a Note 3. On my Note 3, it resizes upward just fine, and do does this same image when downloaded from the Net. When I try to do it on the image, and other images Bluetooth transferred from my Note 3, that is when I have resizing issues.

My Note 3 suddenly developed an issue, and that is why I got this Note 8. When I first noticed the issue on my Note 3, it was during download/save of an email picture send. I started to get the dreaded error about "android.process.media stopping. After that, it started to happen twice every bootup. I have not been able to solve it with any of the many fixes I found on the Net. One poster said that he eventually found that his phone SD card reader was failing, and I was wondering if that was my issue. Maybe that could affect images transferred by the Note 3? Eventually I will have to try transferring images to my Note 8 from my laptop to see what happens, but until then, I do not know.

lets forget the note 3 since you are speaking about the note 8. keeps things simple.

once you update to oreo then retest things. come back here if you still have issues.

Sounds good, but before then, I will download said image onto my tablet, then Bluetooth it to my Note 8 to see what happens.

Bingo....problem solved.

Same image accepted different ways:
A. Bluetooth from Note 3, can't resize, image looks garbled, like a copy of a copy of a copy.
B. Downloaded onto the Note 8 from the net, the image resizes normally, looks normal, just like the original on my Note 3 downloaded long ago.
C. Downloaded onto my Samsung Tablet, then Bluetooth transferred to the Note 8, everything is fine with the copy as in "B".

I am now assuming that there may be issues in reading and or transferring from the Note 3 as previously theorized.
