Does anyone know a way to get better photos? I have played with the settings but the photographs arent very clear. Not as much as Id have thought they would be. my old 5 mp camera took better photos. I have to be doing something wrong. :(

Get a better quality app in marketplace.

I've noticed camera problems as well. it seems like the shutter is slow. It flashes and you see a good picture on the screen but when you view the actual picture its the flash effect is horrible like its not really there or the shutter just caught the tail end of the flash as its fading.

Try using a different camera app, I really like 'Open Camera' a free (and Open Source), no ads alternative:

Plenty of other options in the Play Store too.
Looking up specs on your Stylo, that does have a respectable 13mp camera so hopefully there's just some issue with the LG camera app. It's not just the hardware aspect (megapixel numbers) that are a factor, the software is a big part too.

Also, is your phone in a case and is the camera opening in the case completely exposed or does it have any kind of transparent shielding?
