Root Not gps note 8

Recently rooted my note 8 with TWRP. Didn't work managed to flash the rom to get it back to normal. Now the GPS doesn't work. Given everything a go factory reset played with the setting nothing. Can anyone help?
 
Did you flash the exact correct ROM for your particular Note8 variant? And was it the original Samsung ROM or some other third-party custom ROM? If it's got an incorrect or a buggy custom ROM, factory resetting will not fix it.

It's the same procedure, only in the olden days at least Kernels if needed should always be the last to be flashed.

Typr *#0*# into the phone dialer and test everything first.
 
Yeah I've done that. The gps is out about 30m to 40m out and jumps around. On waze it comes up with this.

Ah your using third parties! I thought you were saying your GPS was completely inoperable. If you can't calibrate the compass from the test panel I gave you, use the official Samsung compass in the edge panel to calibrate the location. Remember that magnets, fridges, bed springs, trees, indoor use can have a detrimental effect on GPS.
 
Ok I'll give it a go edge panel

Compass works fine just the gps. I'm at 32 my location shows nextdoor lol

I think that's as good as your going to get, I did once compare my position to a known Trig point and I was out by 1m, which is pretty good seeing as the tolerance is +-3m I believe. I can't help much more, my knowledge of Glonass is untested and I won't help if I'm not confident I can retrieve your phone from an error I may make.
