Galaxy S9 cellular data issue?

My brand new Galaxy S9 won't work for with LTE as of this morning. My mom and I are in the same data plan so it's not like I'm complaining about what I'm not paying for.

Anyways, my S9 doesn't seem to cooperate with LTE for whatever reason. It'll say 4G LTE but the bars are empty with an X in it and I can use my data like normal but I can't make/receive phone calls or send/receive texts.... Like I said, data still works fast like LTE should but I can't do texts or calls. I can watch YouTube and use Facebook just fine and whatnot but I can't do activities including the use of my actual phone number.

Any ideas about what this is and how I can fix this? As mentioned, it started this morning. And I'm using T-mobile if that has anything to do with it. But it shouldn't as my mom can get full bars of LTE signal on the same data plan with the same model phone and still make calls and stuff on her phone.

By this phone being brand new I don't think it's going to be a whole lot of answers out here yet on how to fix some issues. I suggest power down your phone and waiting a few minutes, then start it up again and see if that helps with the issues. If it didn't help I would suggest calling Samsung 800 customer service number so they can give you an in depth fix for that issue.
