If anyone can please help. I have the Samsung S5 and my gf has an iPhone6. She sent an image over text to me and since I read it she has gotten 47 read receipts (yes I counted) over the past 2 days even though we haven't texted. We are both using the basic texting app that come with the phones. Both of us have read and delivery receipts turned off, can't find a solution anywhere..

If nobody has answered this its because they don't understand your question such as myself, what do you mean by receipts?
 
She gets a message in her sms app over and over saying "your message has been read" even though I haven't reopened my sms app.
 
Hard to tell. I think so? Started after a picture so I think it would be, but she has gotten then 20-40 read receipts from my phone for the single picture. And yes I'm often on the Rogers network, with freedom mobile so it just back and forth between their networks often
