Every time I receive a text message from anyone I struggle with reading it since every letter is separated with an @, instead of showing the whole text in normal form.

Yes this is from anyone, and I'm now using Google messages, I was using my default message app and had the same issue.

Try textra. But the message after that one didn't have issues. Did the first one have emojis from the sender
