Actual MicroSD storage capacity?

My Stylo 3 Plus is a MetroPCS phone, but its unlocked. I want to buy the biggest SD card for it that will work with it. I've done multiple research and see different capacity ranges of 64gb to 2tb... Will 2tb actually work in my Stylo 3 Plus?

Also, what about these 'generic brand' SD cards? Do they work or will it work with my Stylo 3 Plus?

Currently there isnt any genuinely available sd card 1tb or greater... If anyone is advertising one its a fake

Nice to know. This guy is trying to sell me a 514 GB generic brand SD card, how does that add up?

Well.... Its your money...

Personally i wouldn't buy a 16gb card from anywhere that had less than a 100 percent rock solid return policy....which means retail, or incredibly well trusted retail store, or possibly my brother in law

I can dig it, I mean I would test it before I bought it, just don't want it to crash later on or some shit. U know if they do that ? And if it works, is my phone capable of holding that much?

Fake cards are rigged so that they lie to the operating system and some utilities about how much memory they have... Its only when you try and access some of the earlier files you find they are gone.

I mean... If the guy is going to allow you to spend a few hours running enhanced testing.... Sure.

My brother in law might....

But in this situation, id walk away

Generally if you're shopping for a microSD card you shouldn't be focusing on getting the cheapest bargain. Cheap cards are less reliable and fail more frequently, plus because they're made of sub-standard components you'll encounter more read/write issues and other quirky behavior, something that will also cause weird performance issues on your phone itself. It's your data that will be affected so get a name-brand card with a reputation behind it.
